Design and evolve Vecto’s core platform from the ground up—creating an intuitive experience for insurance adjusters to arrange rentals and rideshares for claimants. As the company scaled, continue refining the product, expanding the design system, and extending the brand across new features and sub-brands.
Designing a brand-new platform required balancing clarity, efficiency, and flexibility from day one. The product had to work seamlessly for power users handling dozens of cases a day, while still being approachable for newer users. As Vecto expanded, the challenge shifted toward maintaining consistency across evolving workflows, new features, and branded sub-products—all without disrupting the core experience.
The platform launched with a clean, efficient interface that quickly earned praise from adjusters and internal teams. I worked closely with the PM, CTO, and CEO to ensure the product remained intuitive and scalable as it grew. The redesigns and ongoing UI refinements were met with overwhelmingly positive feedback from users. Additionally, I led the rebranding of sub-products and updated the marketing website, ensuring a cohesive, modern design language across all of Vecto’s touchpoints.
We partnered with Vecto to understand their ambitious vision of reshaping the car insurance experience. Through initial workshops and strategic calls, we learned how they wanted to help adjusters simplify rental and rideshare arrangements — something no one had done at this scale before.
We explored how adjusters currently handled claims support and where delays or pain points existed. Through conversations with industry experts and early user research, we validated Vecto’s product-market fit and uncovered opportunities to improve speed and user satisfaction.
Once we understood the user needs, we mapped detailed service flows for adjusters, claimants, and Vecto’s internal team. We created clear diagrams and journey maps to ensure a seamless and scalable experience, laying the groundwork for a solid product structure.
We developed low-fidelity wireframes to test core ideas quickly, then progressed to high-fidelity interactive prototypes. This iterative process helped align the product team, engineers, and executive stakeholders around clear, actionable designs.
We crafted a polished visual identity and robust design system to support future growth and new features. This ensured the platform stayed clean and consistent across various user flows, and set the foundation for Vecto’s brand extensions and marketing collateral.
As Vecto grew, we extended the brand into sub-products and refined their marketing website to tell a unified story. We focused on clear messaging, strong visuals, and maintaining a consistent feel across every touchpoint — from platform UI to external campaigns.
Our collaboration with Vecto has continued for 3+ years, supporting new feature rollouts and iterative UX improvements based on user feedback. Our ongoing partnership ensures Vecto stays innovative and user-centric as they expand their market impact.
